Explosive pros clear hazards, keep locals safe
Staff Sgt. David Barrett (rear) and Staff Sgt. Brenden McAvey set up a detonation site outside the wire at an air base in Southwest Asia. Airmen in the 386th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordnance Disposal Flight have safely cleared almost 1,000 unexploded ordnance devices during their six-month deployment here.
