Charleston Airmen begin transporting new Army vehicles
An Army High Mobility Engineer Excavator is loaded onto a C-5 Galaxy Sept. 29 at Charleston Air Force Base, S.C. Airmen helped transport the vehicles to forward deployed Soldiers and contractors in hostile environments. The HMEE is a newly developed military construction vehicle capable of a wide range of mobility affording more protection for the operator than conventional excavators.
