Simulation center prepares medics for saving lives
Medical residents use a mannequin to practice reviving an infant in the simulation center at Wilford Hall Medical Center on Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. The training is designed to replicate the stressful situations medics will encounter when treating patients. The simulation center is routinely used by both Air Force and Army medical residents training in a wide variety of specialties including pediatric intensive care.
