Crown me

Staff Sgt. Amy Cadavero looks through magnifying goggles as she shapes a porcelain crown using a dental drill with a diamond bur drill bit Sept. 9 at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. Once Sergeant Cadavero receives the impressions made from a patient's teeth, she will then make it into a cast mold to start shaping the crown so it will fit comfortably in a patient's mouth. This process can take up to a week to finish. She is a dental lab technician assigned to the 354th Medical Operations Squadron (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Jonathan Snyder)
