Despite reduced numbers, final New Horizons MEDRETE a success
Lt. Col. Helen Crouch passes out toothbrushes to Peruvian people listening to a public health lecture during a medical mission in Mollepata, Peru, Aug. 1. A team of 19 medical personnel deployed to Ayacucho, Peru, to support the final three of nine medical missions supporting New Horizons - Peru 2008. The mission is a U.S. and Peruvian effort to bring humanitarian aid to underpriviliged Peruvians. Colonel Crouch is from the 433rd Medical Group at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas.
