Firefighters Staff Sgts. Chris Bakupoulos (left) and Van Smith douse the remainder of a fire that destroyed a collection of trailers July 22 at Joint Base Balad, Iraq. The Airmen helped contain a two-alarm fire, limiting the damage to six closely situated buildings. Firefighters terminated the emergency at approximately 4:30 p.m., and crews remained on scene to extinguish hotspots and prevent a new fire from starting.
