Airframes transform to 'aerovac'

Members of the 455th Expeditionary Aeromedical Evacuation Flight load a stryker frame onto the back of a pickup truck July 8 at Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan. The frame is a specialized stretcher for immobilizing patients with actual or suspected spine injuries. The stretcher was used for an aeromedical evacuation flight on a C-130 Hercules earlier that day. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Samuel Morse)
