AF doctor wins AFA award
Pediatric Cardiologist Lt. Col. (Dr.) Kirk A. Milhoan, 59th Maternal/Child Care Squadron, spends a moment with Simon, who was brought to a Zambia orphanage very close to death. With care and treatment he received there, Simon was able to once again be a vibrant and energetic child. The orphanage in Kitwe, Zambia, was founded in 2003 with the help of Dr. Milhoan.
