Airmen donate medical equipment to Bulgarian hospital
Chaplain (Maj.) Vincent Cummings presents a new pulse oximeter to Dr. Stefan Lazarov from the Medical University June 23 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Approximately 200 Airmen Homestead Air Reserve Base, Fla., deployed to train with the Bulgarian air force. The Airmen raised $2,800 to purchase a medical device for the children's ward that is useful for patients with respiratory or cardiac problems. Chaplain Cummings is a 482nd Fighter Wing chaplain.
