Airmen donate medical equipment to Bulgarian hospital

Errol Johnson June 23 at a hospital in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Approximately 200 Airmen Homestead Air Reserve Base, Fla., deployed to train with the Bulgarian air force. The Airmen raised $2,800 to purchase a medical device for the children's ward that is useful for patients with respiratory or cardiac problems. Dr. Lazarov is from the Medical University in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Chaplain Cummings is a 482nd Fighter Wing chaplain, Sergeant Lane is the 93rd Fighter Squadron first sergeant and Sergeant Johnson is a 93rd FS aerospace medical technician.
