Sign, stakes, tape and wire screen protects a sea turtle nest that hatched Aug. 23, 2013, on a beach at Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla. This cordon was set up by the 325th Civil Engineering Squadron Natural Resources to improve the hatchlings chances of making it to open water. This year, they have set up these protections around 59 sea turtle nests.
