Pacific Angel 13-1 set to kick off in Philippines
Airmen from the Pacific Angel-Philippines team transfer boxes filled with medical supplies from an Armed Forces of the Philippines C-130 March 1, 2013, at the airport in Dumaguete City, Philippines. Members from both the AFP and U.S. Air Force worked together to unload cargo during the first host-nation assisted airlift since Pacific Angel began in 2007. Operation PACANGEL is a joint and combined humanitarian assistance exercise held in various countries several times a year and includes medical, dental, optometry, engineering programs and various subject-matter expert exchanges.
