Senior Airman Logan Fountaine uses GPS base equipment Oct. 16, 2013, to determine grid coordinates and measure latitude, longitude and elevation of headstones at Madingley American Cemetery, near Cambridge, England. Airmen from the 100th CES engineering flight were taking GPS readings to annotate the exact location of each individual headstone. All the data from the project will be used to create an electronic map that allows families and friends of those Americans lost in World War II to pinpoint the location of their resting place. Fountaine is a 100th Civil Engineer Squadron engineering flight journeyman.
