Master Sgt. Shanda Moon and her nephew, Army Spc. Alec Potthoff pose for a photo at their base in Southwest Asia where both are deployed. Moon is the executive assistant to the Command Chief, Air Force Central Command, and Potthoff is assigned to the 1st Battalion, 43rd Air Defense Artillery. Moon and her nephew, Potthoff, recently had an unexpected reunion in the dining facility after more than five years apart.
