The hole cut by the team of first responders that rescued two Airmen trapped inside a flooded guard shack July 9, 2014 on Kadena Air Base, Japan. The Airmen were trapped in the shack by a flash flood caused by Neoguri, a category 4 typhoon, which struck the western coast of Okinawa, Japan, July 7-9. The responders were able to successfully cut a hole in the guard shack and free the airmen by using sledge hammers, axes and k-12 fire rescue saws. (Courtesy photo)
