First responders save trapped defenders
A team of first responders work to cut a hole in the roof of a flooded guard shack to rescue two Airmen trapped inside July 9, 2014, on Kadena Air Base, Japan. The flash flood was caused by Neoguri, a category 4 typhoon, which struck the western coast of Okinawa, Japan, July 7-9. Due to the efforts of the responders the Airmen were rescued safely.
