Save the sea turtles! Andersen teams with local university to conserve species
Turtle-safe lamps light the Tarague Beach recreational area Aug. 17, 2014, on Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. The bulbs were replaced in March 2014 and are designed to emit light in lower wavelengths, which sea turtles are unable to see, giving hatchlings a better chance at survival by following the natural moonlight.
