Going Vertical
A CV-22B Osprey operated by the 7th Special Operations Squadron from Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England, flies over the flightline at RAF Lakenheath, while enroute for a routine training mission March 11, 2015. The CV-22 is the U.S. Air Force's premier tiltrotor aircraft combining the vertical takeoff, hover and vertical landing qualities of a helicopter with the long-range, fuel efficiency and speed characteristics of a turboprop aircraft.
