Members of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, along with the 36th Contingency Response Group Airmen who are attached to Joint Task Force-505, work together to repair the runway at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal, May 10, 2015. Nepalese officials and Airmen teamed up to conduct necessary repairs to the airfield after it sustained damage following a magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck the nation April 25. In response to the Nepal earthquake, the U.S. military sent Airmen, Marines, Soldiers and Sailors, as part of JTF-505, to support the humanitarian assistance and disaster relief mission in Nepal at the direction of U.S. Agency for International Development.
