Training with Eglin Defenders
Two Airmen from the 96th Security Forces Squadron Airman run for cover during a shoot, move and communicate drill at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla, June 23, 2015. The mandatory training requirement is in addition to annual weapons qualification training. The exercise consists of Airmen firing simmunition ammo while advancing toward, away from and to the side of a target. This is followed by a building sweep and clear drill. The Defenders perform the highly kinetic training at Eglin’s Base Tango range. The range was previously used for security forces pre-deployment training. (U.S. Air Force photo/Samuel King Jr.)
