German village honors fallen U.S. Airman
Col. Harry Benham, U.S. Air Forces in Europe-Air Forces Africa operations and plans chief, speaks with the owners of the land Sept. 25, 2015, in Dietingen, Germany, where 2nd Lt. Priesley Cooper Jr.’s P-51 D Mustang was shot down. Cooper was killed in action during a strafing run in World War II.
