Four Super Tucanos delivered to Afghan Air Force
A member of the Afghan Air Force marshals in an A-29 Super Tucano at Hamid Karzai International Airport, Afghanistan, Jan. 15, 2016. The aircraft will be added to the Afghan Air Force’s inventory in the spring of 2016. Designed to operate in high temperatures and in extremely rugged terrain, the A-29 Super Tucano is a highly maneuverable 4th generation weapons system capable of delivering precision-guided munitions.
