'Phantom Eye' Looks to New Home at Air Force Flight Test Museum

NASA employees move the disassembled Phantom Eye, a Boeing-developed, liquid hydrogen-powered demonstrator aircraft, during a transfer to Edwards Air Force Base, Calif., Aug. 17, 2016. Once on base, the aircraft will await reassembly and refurbishment for eventual display as part of the Air Force Flight Test Museum. Phantom Eye was designed to fly long endurance missions at high altitudes as a potential surrogate for military intelligence and communications satellites. (U.S. Air Force photo/Christopher Okula)
