Air Force keeps rescue operations fueled
Members from the 23rd Logistics Readiness Squadron forward area refueling point, or FARP, team conduct a hot refuel of a MH-60S Seahawk from the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, Aug. 31, 3017, at Jack Brooks Regional Airport in Beaumont, Texas. A FARP is used to refuel aircraft that cannot perform in-flight refueling or make it to an airfield. The U.S. military is working with the Federal Emergency Management Agency as well as state and local authorities in rescue and relief efforts following Hurricane Harvey.
