Airman 1st Class Jacob Curry, 23rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron crew chief, performs a preflight systems check prior to launching an A-10C Thunderbolt II, May 17, 2018, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. Airmen conduct routine training missions in the airspace surrounding Moody AFB to remain current on their tactics and procedures. While helping pilots remain proficient, training also gives crew chiefs and maintainers the opportunity to remain proficient at launching and maintaining the aircraft.
