"All in a Weekend:" JBC Reserve Citizen Airmen deliver humanitarian aid to Dominican Republic
An ambulance is driven off a Joint Base Charleston C-17 Globemaster III aircraft by Master Sgt. Eric Zilaitis, loadmaster with the 317th Airlift Squadron, and guided by Senior Airman Josh Blackburn, crew chief with the 437th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, during a weekend humanitarian and training mission to the Dominican Republic, May 31, 2019. The ambulance, along with a fire truck and firefighting equipment, was donated by a fire department in Rochester, New York and transported under the Denton cargo program, which allows for space available on military aircraft to be used for transport of humanitarian aid and supplies.
