Air Force names newest helicopter ‘Grey Wolf’
Gen. Timothy Ray, Air Force Global Strike Command commander, and Col. Michael Jiru, Air Force Materiel Command program executive officer, depart the the MH-139A Grey Wolf helicopter shortly after their arrival Dec. 19, 2019, at Duke Field, Fla. The aircraft is set to replace the Air Force's fleet of UH-1N Huey aircraft and has capability improvements related to speed, range, endurance and payload.
