U.S. Air Force medics transport a patient onto an ambulance bus for continued care during Cope North 2020, at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. During the exercises’ trilateral mass-casualty scenario, the U.S. Air Force and Navy, Japan Air Self-Defense Force, Royal Australian air force, Guam Army National Guard and Guam Police integrated their medical, air and ground operations to save 24 lives on the islands of Rota and Guam.
