Capstone event validates AFCENT ACE capabilities
An U.S. Air Force E-3 Sentry, or AWACS, and E-8C Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System aircraft sit on the flightline at Prince Sultan Air Base, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, March 1, 2021. The Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance platforms were at PSAB in advance of an Agile Combat Employment capstone event. The event follows a series of ACE events throughout the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility that enhance theater airpower competencies, validate operational capabilities and command and control while simultaneously strengthening regional partnerships.
