The joint radar evaluation and optimization team composed of the 84th Radar Evaluation Squadron radar team and a Federal Aviation Administration member, tests the Air Route Surveillance Radar system version 4, or ARSR-4, long-range radar, Paso Robles, Calif., Aug. 24, 2021. The 84th Radar Evaluation Squadron at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, monitors, evaluates, optimizes, and integrates fixed and long-range radars for the operational and federal communities, providing data analysis and unique radar forensics to ensure controllers have reliable and accurate sensor information to execute command and control.
