Operation Christmas Drop
An Air Force C-130J Super Hercules assigned to the 36th Airlift Squadron takes off at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Dec. 1, 2021 in support of the 70th annual Operation Christmas Drop. Due to the geographical area covered by OCD, there are logistical challenges to High Availability/Disaster Recovery support. OCD allows our Airmen to rise to the challenge and find innovative solutions, demonstrating their constant readiness and willingness to solve problems no matter the circumstance.
