Strafing run

An F-35A Lightning II assigned to the 56th Fighter Wing performs a strafing run during Luke Air Force Base’s honorary commander event over the Barry M. Goldwater Range, Ariz., Oct. 26, 2023. The event was a showcase of the base’s aerial ability, with honorary commanders witnessing firsthand strafing and bombing demonstrations from the F-35 Lightning II, F-16 Fighting Falcon, HH-60W Jolly Green II and A-10 Thunderbolt II.
