The Spirit of Oklahoma, a B-2 Spirit stealth bomber assigned to the 509th Bomb Wing, departs Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo., April 30, 2025. Named in tribute to the state of Oklahoma, the aircraft honors the state’s significant contributions to the B-2 program, especially through the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center at Tinker Air Force Base, which oversees depot-level maintenance for the entire B-2 fleet.
