    The trainer allows four people to don VR headgear and simultaneously enter a server to fly a virtual HH-60G Pave Hawk combat search and rescue helicopter in simulated training missions. The controls are the same equipment the helicopter uses to add further realism to the VR environment.
  • Prime BEEF aids in hurricane rebuild

    Airmen from all over the country have joined Tyndall Air Force Base on the road to recovery. For some, the call of duty comes from right next door. Airmen from the 23rd Civil Engineering Prime Base Engineer Emergency Force Squadron, Moody AFB, Georgia, narrowly escaped Hurricane Michael themselves and were some of the first to come to Tyndall AFB’s aid.

    Airmen from the 325th Fighter Wing and the 23rd Wing were put to the test in a simulated deployed environment at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, as part of exercise Stealth Guardian, Aug. 10, 2017. Two F-22 Raptors from the 95th Fighter Squadron, at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, were rearmed and refueled by way of a forward air refueling point, or FARP, from an HC-130J Combat King II.

    Two wings, one mission: to execute a local squadron-planned exercise between the 23d Wing and the 325th Fighter Wing during Exercise Stealth Guardian August 7-11, 2017. During months of planning between Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida and Moody AFB, Georgia., Exercise Stealth Guardian was conceived and executed by Airmen from both wings to explore Air Force capabilities in modern rescue scenarios to integrate rescue and 5th generation assets in a deployed or contingency environment.
