    Secretary of the Air Force Deborah Lee James, Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Dave Goldfein, and Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force James A. Cody released the following message in honor of the Air Force’s 69th birthday.

    Fiscal stability, readiness key focus of service chiefs testimony

    Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Dave Goldfein testified to the U.S. Senate on Capitol Hill Sept. 15 emphasizing the need for fiscal stability to combat the long-term modernization and readiness challenges facing the Air Force.

    Air Force officials welcome new vice chief of staff, honor Vietnam War vets

    Air Force Undersecretary Lisa S. Disbrow and Chief of Staff Gen. Dave Goldfein welcomed Gen. Stephen W. Wilson as the service’s new vice chief of staff at a reception Aug. 26 at the Fort Myer Officers’ Club in Virginia.

    Goldfein talks air coalition ops during CENTCOM region visit

    Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. David L. Goldfein recently visited the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility to get a sense of not only how the campaign is going as a member of the joint chiefs but also to get an understanding of how he can better support Airmen, Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and coalition partners regarding the impact on the service today.

    The KC-46A Pegasus program received Milestone C approval from Frank Kendall, the under secretary of defense for acquisition, technology and logistics, signaling the aircraft is ready to enter into production.

    Goldfein hosts first town hall with CMSAF

    The Air Force’s top officer and enlisted leader hosted a town hall forum July 20 in the Boyd Auditorium at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. During the 70-minute forum, Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. David L. Goldfein and Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force James A. Cody answered several questions from the crowd and addressed their key concerns.
