Women’s AF history expands with new four-star
Lt. Gen. Ellen Pawlikowski, the assistant secretary of the Air Force for acquisition, military deputy, was promoted to the rank of general, effective June 8.
Technical sergeant promotion release delayed to allow system validation
Technical sergeant promotion selection results, originally scheduled for release May 28, will be delayed to enable the Air Force to continue to validate extensive system changes to the Weighted Airman Promotion System (WAPS), officials announced.

In line with a recent update to the Air Force policy on enlisted performance report static closeout dates (SCOD), effective immediately, all future EPRs for promotion-selectees will close out on the date of the promotion-select grade.

1,257 selected for promotion to senior master sergeant
The Air Force has selected 1,257 master sergeants for promotion to senior master sergeant.The selection rate was 8.75 percent, with an average selectee overall score of 680.90.
AF releases colonel, major selection board results
The Air Force has selected 456 lieutenant colonels for promotion to colonel, and 2,126 captains for promotion to major, Air Force Personnel Center officials announced Feb. 11.

The Air Force continues the phased implementation of its Enlisted Evaluation System and Weighted Airman Promotion System (WAPS) changes with the convening of a master sergeant evaluation board scheduled for May 2015.
