    The NCO Bilateral Exchange program consists of U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army and Japan Self-Defense Force members coming together to learn and grow. The program pairs members from similar career fields, so they can learn how their counterparts operate to accomplish the missions of peaceful development, contingency response and aggression deterrence.

  • Open for business: Airmen discuss contract opportunities with Kuwaitis

    The event, sponsored by the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait, is a joint effort among the U.S. Department of Commerce, the American Business Council – Kuwait, the U.S. Army’s 408th Contracting Support Brigade from Camp Arifjan and the U.S. Air Force’s 386th Expeditionary Contracting Squadron.

    The 818th Mobility Support Advisory Squadron sent a rotary wing maintenance and operations mobile training team to Burkina Faso, Africa, April 5-20 to train and aid the partner nation in identifying the cause of significant mechanical issues impacting the Burkina Faso air force’s UH-1H helicopter fleet.

  • US, Nepal team up for disaster response training

    Ten U.S. Air Force air advisors from the 36th Contingency Response Group, Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, embarked on a journey over 4,000 miles away from their tropical duty station to the mountainous country of Nepal, where they participated in a subject-matter expert exchange with 20 members from the Nepalese Army, Nepal Police, Nepal Armed Police Force, Nepal Airlines and Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal Aug. 21-25, 2017.

  • U.S. Strategic Command, Norway sign agreement to share space services, data

    U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) entered into an agreement with the Norwegian Ministry of Defense and Norwegian Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries to share space situational awareness (SSA) services and information.
