AFIMSC set to begin Red Hawk beddown efforts at JBSA
The Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center has the greenlight to move forward with major construction work to support the beddown of a new aircraft and training mission at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas. The Air Force signed a record of decision recently after completing an environmental impact statement for major construction work to deliver the infrastructure needed to support the fifth-generation jet trainer, the T-7A Red Hawk. Beginning June 23, Total Force Airmen and Guardians will have the capability to learn anywhere, anytime, and on any device, with the help of a myLearning username and password. Air Education and Training Command officials announced the addition of the new identity access management tool to the learning system, which will give personnel with a Common Access Card (CAC) the ability to create a username and password to log into myLearning and myTraining on personally owned devices (e.g., phone, tablet, laptop, etc.), with the aid of a third-party authentication application.
