Application window opens for Olympic hopefuls
Airman 1st Class Tyler Evans, stationed at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo., is a modern pentathlete and member of the Air Force World Class Athlete Program, training for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France. The application window for Airmen, Guardians, Reservists and Guardsmen, as A1C Evans, who dream of Olympic competition, is now open. Once accepted into the program, athletes train full-time for the chance to represent the DAF and the nation on the world stage. (U.S. Air Force Graphic)

Athletes can begin applying to begin their training with the hopes of competing in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France. Ideas wanted for 2022 AFIMSC Innovation Rodeo; at least $1M up for grabs
The Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center kicked off its fourth annual Innovation Rodeo with a call-for-topics campaign starting March 11. The campaign, open through June 6, gives military and civilian members of mission support groups around the world a chance to win part of $1 million in funding and resources to pursue their ideas. Airman makes debut as Winter Olympian, has sights set for 2026
Airman 1st Class Kelly Curtis, 32, a member of the Department of the Air Force’s World Class Athlete Program (WCAP), finished 21 out of 25 in the winter Olympics in Beijing, People’s Republic of China in February.
