Air Force Medical Service Seal (Enhanced)

Air Force Medical Service Seal (Enhanced). Image provided by the Institute of Heraldry. Medical Service created the AFMS Seal in 1966. In 1968, the Air Force granted approval for the adoption of the seal to be used on a quasi-official basis (publications, displays, etc) (this grant of approval has often been confused as official approval of the Seal as an organizational emblem). In accordance with Chapter 3 of AFI 84-105, commercial reproduction of this emblem is NOT permitted without the permission of the proponent organizational/unit commander.
