Gunfighter Flag wraps up
Seaman Apprentice Adan Michels, a plane captain with Tactical Electronic Attack Squadron 137 at Whidbey Island Naval Air Station, Wash., radios back to his shop during a pre-flight inspection on an EA-6B Prowler Sept. 24, 2009, during Gunfighter Flag at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho. The EA-6B Prowlers participated as friendly "blue air forces" during the exercise. Gunfighter Flag, which ran from Sept. 14 through 24, was Mountain Home?s first large-scale, multi-national exercise which brought more than 450 personnel from the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy and Canadian air force to the base.
