YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Senior Airman Garry King ensures liquid oxygen converters are in proper condition during an annual inspection here. The converter assembly is designed to store and convert liquid oxygen into gaseous oxygen for aircrews during flight. During inspection, Airman King checks for cracks, air leaks, corrosions and chipped paints. He also ensures batteries and gauges are in top shape.
