Red Flag
NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. (AFPN) -- Senior Airman Daniel Desfassiaux inspects and repacks an F-117A Nighthawk deceleration parachute Jan. 25 during Red Flag 06-1 here Jan. 21 to Feb. 18. Red Flag tests fliers' war-fighting skills in realistic combat situations. Flights involve more than 80 aircraft, including B-2 Spirit bombers and F-16 Fighting Falcons. The aircraft will fly missions day and night at the nearby Nevada Test and Training Range. Along with the Air Force, units are participating from the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, United Kingdom and Australia.
